Mary Frances Goodwin Williams

Frances Williams, born July 12, 1924 as Mary Frances Goodwin in Anderson, SC was taken home by her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 5, 2008. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leo Morgan will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at her residence, 1106 East 11th Street. Mrs. Williams was a daughter of the late J. B. Goodwin and Addie Bell Cox Goodwin. She worked for the Disabled American Veterans as a store manager in Illinois. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shirly Alton Williams, in 1999; son, Randy Williams; two brothers, William Goodwin, Rev. Eugene Goodman and his wife, Jewel. Mrs. Williams is survived by two daughters, Donna Hall and husband, John of Columbia, SC and Norma Karm and husband, John of Hanover Park, IL; son, Steve Williams and wife, Dianne of Lake Hills, TX; three brothers, George Goodman, Harold Goodman and wife, Sarah, James Goodman and wife, Sheila; two sisters, Mildred Fleming and husband, James, Brenda Morgan and husband, Leo; sister-in-law, Mary Goodwin; Seven Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren.
