Mary Frances Horne

Mrs. Mary Frances Wagner Horne, 88, formerly of Ludwig Street, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Five Oaks Manor in Concord. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Monday, April 30, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Burt Williams and Rev. Willian Van Wieren, III will officiate. Burial will follow Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Horne was born April 29, 1923 in Davie County. She was a daughter of the late Price Wagner and Mary Ethel Smith Wagner. She was a homemaker and was a member of Midway United Methodist Church for most of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Horne, Sr., in 1973. Mrs. Horne is survived by two daughters, Susan Crisco and husband Mike of New London and Frances Horne of Misenheimer; three sons, William B. "Bill" Horne, Jr. of Concord, David Horne and wife Donna of Pelham, NC and Ed Horne and wife Charlene of Rockwell; five grandchildren, Jeffery Crisco, Jennie Tsicouris, Logan Horne, Dillon Horne and Ethan Horne.
