Mary Honeycutt Moose

Mrs. Mary Honeycutt Moose, 96, a resident of Universal Healthcare in Concord and formerly of Mable Avenue, Kannapolis, died Thursday, October 26, 2006, at the nursing facility. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2006, at Jackson Park Baptist Church. The Rev. Herman Absher will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born April 1, 1910, in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late John Honeycutt and Mattie Morrow Honeycutt. She retired several years ago from Cannon Mills, Plant No. 4. She was a member of Jackson Park Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Moose. Survivors include two daughters-in-law, Frankie S. Moose of Kannapolis and Diane Moose of Concord; a sister-in-law, Marybell Honeycutt of Kannapolis; three grandchildren, Alex Moose and wife, Cathy, Michael Griffith and Michelle Abercrombie; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
