Mary Lee Nicholson

Mrs. Mary Lee Overcash Nicholson, 77, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Transitional Health Services.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, November 11, 2013 at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1:00 pm Monday, prior to the service at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nicholson was born on May 14, 1936 in Rowan County. She was the daughter of the late Grover C. Overcash and Pauline Heileg Overcash. She was a member of Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Nicholson in 1990.

Mrs. Nicholson is survived by caregivers and special friends, Nita Benton and husband Andy and their children, Faith and Heather; and two nieces, Vickie Cline of Kannapolis and Judy Finley of Winder, GA.
