Mary Syble Presson

Mary Syble Presson, 88, a resident of the Brian Center in Concord, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, following a number of years of declining health. A graveside service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2004, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Joseph A. Miller will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born December 17, 1915, in Mecklenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Vernon A. Presson and May Anne Laney Presson. Survivors include a sister, Rachel Hawsley Buckwell of Concord; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special sister-in-law, Margie Spry of Kannapolis. Memorials may be sent to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 4500 Rimer Road, Concord, NC 28025.
