Mrs. Mary Earley Price, 88, passed away Monday, November 15, 2010, at the Bob & Carolyn Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dr. Luther Price will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 pm Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Price was born October 28, 1922 in Cabarrus County. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Lee Earley and Emma Bell Dayvault Earley of Kannapolis. She retired from Cannon Mills, where she worked in the sewing room for nearly 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lloyd E. Price, who passed away in 1997; four brothers George, Walter, Bill, and Robert Earley; and sister Della Litaker. Mrs. Price is survived by daughter, Dianne Price Berry, and husband, Cecil of Kannapolis; two grandsons, Nathan Berry and wife, Rachael, and Matt Berry and wife, Ashley; and her beautiful great grandchildren, Ethan, Makenna and Landyn. She is also survived by a sister, Voida Bell Hilton of Kannapolis; and brothers, Charles Earley of Salisbury, Joe Earley of Landis and Gene Earley of Naples, Florida. The family would like to thank Dr. Harold Thomas and the staff of Kannapolis Internal Medicine for their wonderful care and compassion over the years, the 400 hall staff and therapists at Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis and Hospice of Cabarrus County.
