Mary Virginia Linker

Mrs. Mary Virginia Hix Linker, 81, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at her home in Charlotte.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Kannapolis. Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate. Entombment will follow the service.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 pm, Tuesday in the Mausoleum prior to the service.

Mrs. Linker was born on February 9, 1931 in Athens, GA. She was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. George Hix.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Deen Agee.

Mrs. Linker is survived by her husband, Alvin E. Linker of the home; daughter, Vicki Jones of High Point; sister, Margaret Hix of Mt. Pleasant; two grandchildren, Noah Hill of Kannapolis and Ange Hill Furr and husband Jeffery of Midland; and two great grandchildren, Taylor Furr and Angel Furr.
