Maude Menius Rumple

Mrs. Maude Menius Rumple, 97, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at St. Andrews Living Center in Concord.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, August 20, 2018 at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev. Chris O'Guinn will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Rumple was born September 23, 1920 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Lucky Menius and Mary Elizabeth Strube Menius.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Litaker Rumple. Mrs. Rumple retired as a folder with Terry Products. Prior to that, she worked at Cannon Mills Company, Plant #1 in the weave room. Maude enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Rumple is survived by her daughter; Jean Carl of Kannapolis, and her sister, Mary "Babe" Godfrey, also of Kannapolis.
