Max Heintz

Mr. Max Heintz, 81, of 5643 Orr Road, Charlotte, NC, died Wednesday, December 11, 2002, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, December 15, 2002, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Marion Fulk will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 PM Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at their respective homes. Mr. Heintz was born October 1, 1921 in Florence, SC. He was a son of the late Zeb Vance Heintz and Margaret Bost Heintz. He was a retired scale repairman. He formerly worked for Piedmont Scale Company, Fairbanks Scale Company, and Metrolina Scale Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy "Dottie" Smith Heintz. Mr. Heintz is survived by his sister, Frances Heintz Richardson of Kannapolis; two brothers, Gene Heintz of Concord and Everett Heintz of Kannapolis; three step-children, Carol and Joe McGlothin of Scottsburg, IN, Judy and Charles Alexander of Midland, Mike and Pam Allen of Indian Trail. Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
