Mr. Michael Wayne Pope, 62, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020, in China Grove.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Pope was born February 5, 1958 in Panama City, FL. He was the son of the late Byron Pressley Pope and Shirley Mae Murdock Pope.

Mr. Pope is survived by two sisters, Chyrel Ferris and Sue Suddreth; special friend, Donna Pittman; three nephews; and one great nephew.
