Michael Dean Severt

Mr. Michael "Mick" Dean Severt, 50, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at his residence.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ralph Hager will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:00 pm, Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Severt was born August 15, 1961 in Cabarrus County. He is a son of James Paul Severt and wife, Peggy of Mt. Holly and his mother, Jaynell B. Rimer of Concord.

Mr. Severt, in addition to his parents, is survived by his wife, Natalie Snipes Severt; three children, Maegan Severt and Angel Severt, both of Kannapolis and Amy Powers of Ohio; five step-children, Christopher Hager, Savannah Oxendine, Jerad Hager and Brian Smith, all of Kannapolis and Kandace Hager of Concord; sister, Sheila Severt Kindley of Mt. Pleasant; five brothers, Bob Severt, Rick Severt, Jeff Severt and Marty Rimer, all of Concord and James Severt of Mt. Holly; one grandson, Seven; and five step-grandchildren, Serenity, Cheyenne, Michael, Travis and Breanne and nine nieces and five nephews.
