Michael Ray Teeter

Mr. Michael "Ray" Teeter, 67, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at his home in China Grove.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:30 pm Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at West Lawn Memorial Park. Pastor Mike Roper will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Ray was born January 12, 1956 in Rowan County. He was the son of the late Kenneth Teeter and Allie Molinda Hurlocker Teeter. He worked various jobs throughout his life including auto body repair, yard work, and small engine repairs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Josephine Brooks Teeter.

Ray is survived by his step-son, Edward "Butch" Rumple of Rockwell; two sisters, Pamela Perrien and Sue Burrisand; and beloved cat, Parker.
