Mildred Bernice Berry

Mrs. Mildred Bernice “Bill” “Nanny” Beaver Berry, 90, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, July 18, 2015, at West Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Steve Sprinkle will officiate.

The family will gather at 10:00 am on Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home

Mrs. Berry was born November 29, 1924 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late Whitson M. Beaver and Ellen Williford Beaver. She was educated in the Rowan County Schools. Mrs. Berry retired from Cannon Mills, Plant #16, in Salisbury. She attended China Grove Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Berry; brother, Nolan Beaver; and sister, Bertie Sides.

Mrs. Berry is survived by two sons, Jack P. Berry and Ronald Berry, both of Salisbury; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
