Mildred Louise Demarcus

Mrs. Mildred Louise Fuller DeMarcus, 95, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 20, 2012 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Darryl Evans will officiate. Interment will follow at Kannapolis Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, Friday prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. DeMarcus was born on May 22, 1917 in LaGrange, GA. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Ellis Stearns and Addie Gertrude Cantrell Stearns-Evan. She retired from Cannon Mills and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Kannapolis.

Mrs. DeMarcus is survived by her children, Debbie Bullard and husband Joel of Tarboro, Charles "Charlie" Michael and wife Karen of West Branch, MI, Joyce Deal of China Grove, Janet Fitzpatrick and husband Wayne of Concord and Anne Hammonds and husband Wade of Lansing, NC; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
