Mildred Mull Karriker

Mrs. Mildred Mull Karriker, 82, of 1360 Old Beatty Ford Road, China Grove, went to her heavenly home, Sunday, April 11, 2004, at her residence, following one year of declining health and a serious illness of three months. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Eastwood Baptist Church. The Rev. Dallas Bennett will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The body will remain at Lady's Funeral Home until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born January 11, 1922 in Madison County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late James Marshall Mull and Lively Marcenia Poteat Mull. She retired after 45 years of employment from Cannon Mills Company. Mrs. Karriker was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, William C. Karriker; three daughters, Barbara Webb and her husband, Donald, of China Grove, Betty Baucom and her husband, Wilson, of Laurinburg, Donna Treece and her husband, Tony, of Concord; one sister, Grace Mull Roseman of Salisbury; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
