Mozelle Craft

Mozelle Phillips Craft, 96, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Tucker Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Barnhill will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:15 pm Sunday, prior to the service, at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Craft was born on December 28, 1918 in Hart County, GA. She was a daughter of the late D.C. Phillips and Myrtie Cromer Phillips. She was a member of Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Early Benson Craft; son, Edward Craft; two sisters, Katie Blake and Claud Craft; and brother, Cleo Chester Phillips.

Mrs. Craft is survived by her children, Sandra Diane Craft Gulledge and husband, Jerry, and Roger Dale Craft and wife, Robin, all of Kannapolis; five grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
