Nancy White Baskins

Nancy White Baskins, 78, died Monday, April 20, 2009, at Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House. Mrs. Baskins was born December 27, 1930 in Morristown, TN to the late Raymond White and Mabel White. She was a retired employee of Terry Products in Kannapolis. She will be remembered for her love of the outdoors, flowers, and the beach. She was a member of Bethpage Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Bethpage Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Daryl Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Baskins is survived by her husband, Howard F. Baskins of the home; a daughter, Sandra Baskins; one son, Franky Baskins and wife Cheryl, and her two daughters, Abby Barringer and Kerri Barringer. Also surviving is her best friend and brother, Bernard White and wife Betty. The family requests that memorials be sent to Bethpage Presbyterian Church, 6020 Mooresville Road, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081 in memory of Mrs. Baskins.
