Nancy Faye Mcwhorter

Miss Nancy Faye McWhorter, 89, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Centerview Baptist Church. Rev Willie Rash will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 to 2:45 pm Sunday prior to the service.

Miss McWhorter was born September 13, 1929 in Kannapolis. She was a daughter of the late Robert Glenn McWhorter and Sudie Taylor McWhorter. She was a graduate of Cannon High School Class of 1947. She was a member of Centerview Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 51 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Glenn McWhorter; and a sister, Mary McWhorter.
