Ms. Nancy "Carol" Styers Power, 86, went to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.
A funeral services is scheduled for 12:30 pm Friday, January 16, 2026, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Brian Duncan will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Carol was born July 23, 1939 in Spencer. She was a daughter of the late William Lee Styers and Cora Lee Waller Styers. Carol spent most of her childhood in the Spencer/Lexington area prior to moving to Kannapolis at age 12. She was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School, Class of 1957. She retired from Cannon Mills Plant 1 sewing room, where she worked as a labeler, labeling instructor and retired as a timekeeper.
Carol enjoyed being outside and had a green thumb, especially with flowers. Up until her recent illness, she was often seen push mowing her lawn. She is remembered for being a remarkable seamstress and well known by family and friends for her sewing skills. She also enjoyed decorating for every holiday and occasion. She had quite the collection of antiques and collectibles, but her greatest passion was her family.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Rushing; and brother, Albert Styers.
Carol is survived by daughters, Delena Mauldin and husband David, and Donna Gray and husband Robert; grandchildren, Brian Duncan and wife Erin, Darrin Mauldin and wife Shannon, Sara Nastasi and husband Michael, and Kevin Gray and wife Stephanie; great grandchildren, Emma Duncan, Leah Duncan, Jace Mauldin, Harper Mauldin, Landon Nastasi, Wyatt Nastasi, Alyssa Nastasi, and Tayden Gray; two sisters, Annie Lee Jarrett and Brenda Honeycutt and husband Tommy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was honored to be considered a member of the Cowan family (Mary, Toni and Mia).
