Nancy Gay Sweatt Overcash

Mrs. Nancy Gay Sweatt Overcash, 68, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Five Oaks Manor in Concord. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, July 2, 2011, at God's Tabernacle in Kannapolis. Rev. Johnny Whittington will officiate. Mrs. Overcash was born October 15, 1942 in Cabarrus County. She was the daughter of the late Charlie William Sweatt and Mable Peacock Sweatt. Mrs. Overcash is survived by her husband, Jessie Overcash; daughter, Denise Funderburke and husband, Scott; son, Jessie "Buddy" Overcash, Jr. and wife, Debbie and brother Leon Sweatt and wife, Kathleen.
