Nellie Ruth Bullen

Mrs. Nell R. Bullen, 62, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Landmark Church in Salisbury. Pastor Mike Robertson will officiate. Interment will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:00 pm, Thursday at Landmark Church prior to the service.

Mrs. Bullen was born on January 26, 1950 in Johnston County. She was a daughter of the late Lonnie Earl Smith and Ruth Olivia Barnes Smith. Mrs. Bullen was a member of Landmark Church in Salisbury.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Holly Anna Saleh; sister, Edna Earle Daughtry, and niece, Jeannie Carol Brewer.

Mrs. Bullen is survived by her husband, Hoyle Lee Bullen; daughter, Karen Saleh and husband Abdullah of Kannapolis; son, David Bullen and wife Maureen of Beach Park, IL; sister, Minnie Rose Brewer and husband Rufus William of Huddleston, VA; brother, William Larry Smith of Mooresville; and granddaughter, Rhanya Skye Saleh.
