Mrs. Nettie Stack Power, 71, of 413 Pinewood Street, Kannapolis, died Tuesday, August 6, 2002, at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, August 9, 2002, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. John Ontko, elder in the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Burial will follow at Kannapolis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 PM Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of a brother, E.J. Stack, 170 Midfield Street, Mooresville. Mrs. Power was born August 9, 1930 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late Edwin Janier Stack, Sr. and Hermie Jeanette Hubbard Stack. She was a homemaker. She attended the Kannapolis Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jakie" Power, on May 30, 1989, and a brother, Oscar Stack, of Pascagoula, MS. Mrs. Power is survived by her son, Gene Robbins, of the home; two brothers, E.J. Stack and his wife, Colleen, of Mooresville and Max Stack and his wife, Linda, of Pageland, SC; and a first cousin, Myrna Barbee, of China Grove.
