Nicholas Ross Honeycutt

Mr. Nicholas Ross "Nick" Honeycutt, 56, of 28 Lakewood Court, Concord, died Monday, July 11, 2005, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis. Interment with full military honors conducted by the US Army will follow at the VA National Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born March 10, 1949, in Cabarrus County, he was the son of Grace Connell Honeycutt of Kannapolis and the late Ross Honeycutt. He was employed at NAPA Auto Parts in Charlotte. He retired in 1989 from the US Army as a Sergeant First Class after 20 years of service. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Cathy Whittington Honeycutt; and a sister, Ebby H. Canupp of Kannapolis.
