Norma Jean Cook

Mrs. Norma Jean Cook, 82, of Concord, and formerly of Kannapolis passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

The family will have a service at a future date.

Mrs. Cook was born January 15, 1940 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late James Howard Dancy and Kathleen Dancy. She was employed as a receptionist at Hilbish Ford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Parks Cook; daughter, Kimberly F. Kelly; brother, Donald Dancy; and a niece, Kathy Dancy.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her son, Brian Cook and wife Tonya of Concord; son-in-law, Barry Kelly; sister-in-law, Jean Dancy; and a niece, Kelly Dancy, all of Kannapolis; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
