Olene Graeber

Mrs. Olene Correll Graeber, 95, of West Davis Street, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 pm Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Landis. Rev. Jarrod Lanning will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 pm Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Graeber was born January 31, 1917 in Landis. She was a daughter of the late John Daniel Correll and Sarah Augusta Wright Correll. She retired from the cutting department of Cannon Mills in Kannapolis and was one of fourteen children. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Charles Graeber; and twelve brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Graeber is survived by a brother, Dearl Correll of Columbia, SC; two step-children, Mary Ann Morgan and Phillip Graeber; and a niece, Pam Gray, with whom she made her home.
