Olivia Lyerly Keith

Mrs. Olivia "Libby" Lyerly Keith, 75, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025, surrounded by family.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Asbury Chapel Global Methodist Church, 11724 Asbury Chapel Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. Pastor Donald Rea and Pastor Cameron Keith will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 12:45 pm Saturday at Asbury Chapel Global Methodist Church.Libby was born on August 29, 1950 in Shelby. She was a daughter of the late Talbert Archie Lyerly, Sr. and Grace Runyon Lyerly. She was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church in Charlotte. Libby enjoyed shopping for bargains and diamonds, traveling and dining out with her adoring husband Lindsay. Most of all, Libby enjoyed cooking and baking for her loved ones; it was a true expression of her love.

In addition to her parents, Libby was preceded in death by two children, Tracy Lynette Howell and Terry Wayne Keith; sister, Jo Ann Lyerly Walters; and brother, Talbert Archie "T.A." Lyerly, Jr.

Libby is survived by her husband, Lindsay Douglas Keith of the home; two children, Teresa Lofty Fesperman and husband Terry of Richfield and Joy Danielle Lofty and husband Stephen Phillips of Kannapolis; 10 grandchildren, Jessica Keith, Emma Earnest and husband Dwight, Dylan Howell, Bailey Howell, Zoe Phillips, Bruce Keith, Savannah Howell, Ethan Phillips, Bricen Keith, and Spencer Fesperman; and four great grandchildren, Kenslie Earnest, Kylie Howell, Blaze Keith, and Blade Keith. Libby is also survived by her nieces and nephews whom she considered as an extension of her children, along with their spouses and children.
