Ollie Lambert Beaver

Mrs. Ollie Lambert Beaver, 83, a resident of the Laurels of Salisbury, and formerly of Sloop Avenue, Kannapolis, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at the nursing center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Charity Baptist Church. Randy McWaters, Dr. R. J. Hammond and the Rev. Ron Bushey will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Charity Baptist Church. At other times they will be at their respective homes. Born November 15, 1922, in Union Grove, NC, she was the daughter of the late Everett Lambert and Minnie L. Lambert. She retired from Cannon Mills where she was a weaver. Her husband, Banks M. Beaver, preceded her in death on March 25, 2004. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Watts and husband, Glenn, of Mt. Pleasant and Priscilla McWaters and husband, Randy, of Kannapolis; two sisters, Lucy Atwell of Mooresville and Mamie Ervin of Kannapolis; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
