Opal Crowe

Mrs. Opal McCarty Crowe, 95, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chris O’Guin will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

Mrs. Crowe was born August 8, 1920 in Danielsville, GA. She was a daughter of the late Fred McCarty and Tavie Nash McCarty. She retired from the sheet department of Cannon Mills plant one.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Crowe in 1975; a son, Larry Crowe in 1996; a brother, Mitchell McCarty; and a sister, Cumi McCarty Gurley.
