Ms. Opal Louise Hargett Valentine, 61, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, at her home in Salisbury.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Ray White will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:45 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.
Opal was born July 12, 1961 in Concord. She was a daughter of the late James Julius Hargett and Dora Evelyn Fisher Hargett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James "Jimmy" J. Hargett, David Lynn Hargett and Ronald Wayne Hargett.
Opal is survived by a brother, Gene Hargett of Landis; her niece and caregiver, Candice Brill, and her three sons, Dakota, Brandon and Callen.
