Pamela Diane Kerr

Mrs. Pamela Diane Johnson Kerr, 61, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 7, 2013, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, June 10, 2013 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Kent will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:00 pm Monday prior to the service at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Kerr was born on May 22, 1952 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of Staley Johnson, Sr. and the late Nellie Victoria Foster Johnson. She worked as a LPN. Mrs. Kerr was a wonderful homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed collecting dolls and baking. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Morrison Kerr; daughter, Jamie Shannon Kerr; and brother, Staley Johnson, Jr. Mrs. Kerr is survived by two sons, Matthew Ryan Kerr and wife Beth of Harrisburg and Andrew Patrick Kerr and wife Miriam of Concord; father, Staley Johnson, Sr. of Kannapolis; sister, Kathy Victoria Johnson of Kannapolis; brother, Jerry Wayne Johnson of Rockwell; and grandchild, Kalel Kerr.
