Pansy Jeanette Wensil Trivette

Mrs. Pansy Jeanette Wensil Trivette, 93, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, March 19, 2018, at Crown Pointe Baptist Church. Rev. Gene Beaver will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm at the church prior to the service on Monday.

Mrs. Trivette was born November 1, 1924 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Cletus Dennis Wensil and Velma Bost Wensil. She retired from Cannon Mills Plant 6 in 1986, and later went to work in the fabric department at Walmart in Concord. She was very active in her church throughout the years and greatly enjoyed sewing, traveling and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl C. Simpson; her second husband Rev. Victor Lee Trivette; and a sister Roselyn McCall.

Mrs. Trivette is survived by daughter, Jeanette Leigh and her husband Houston of Concord; son, Douglas Earl "Doug" Simpson and wife Rhonda of Concord; two brothers, C.D. Wensil and wife Shirley and Aubrey Wensil and wife Mary Lee; grandchildren, Cheryl Leigh McDonald and Andrew Houston Leigh; great grandchildren, Chelsea Leigh, Hunter Leigh, Josiah McDonald, Shelby Leigh and Alex Leigh; and great-great grandchild, Armani Wilson.
