Patricia Alnora Polk

Patricia Alnora Hall Polk, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, May 1, at her home in Landis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 pm Wednesday, May 4 at Gospel Lighthouse Church in China Grove. Pastor Joel Ervin will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:30 pm Wednesday at Gospel Lighthouse Church prior to the service.

Mrs. Polk was born March 13, 1943 in Baltimore, MD. She was the daughter of the late George Leverette Hall and Audrey Hall. She worked as a cosmetology teacher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Barry Polk and Richard Purser; son, Jean-Paul Gabriel, and daughter, Heaven Christine Purser.

Mrs. Polk is survived by her five children, Mark Polk, David Polk, Gina Polk, Ricky Purser, and Kathryn Raudiles; eight grandchildren, Savannah, Haley, Ashley, Preston, Christopher, Bryan, Destiny, and Noah; and one great grandchild, Jonathan.
