Ms. Patricia "Pat" Ann Young Roberts, 53, of 3431 Roundcliff Drive, Concord, died Saturday, June 18, 2005. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis. The Rev. Larry Beaver will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of her father, George "Bobby" Young, 402 N. Harris Street, China Grove. Born April 2, 1952, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of George "Bobby" Young of China Grove and the late Helen Wilson Young. She was a homemaker. Survivors in addition to her father include three sons, Steve Rogers and Gary Rogers and wife, Patricia, of Kannapolis, Mark Rogers and wife, Traci, of Concord; her stepmother, Nancy Young of China Grove; two sisters, Linda Pope and Kay Hartley and husband, Randy, of China Grove; a brother, Mike Young and wife, Jan, of China Grove; five grandchildren, Adam Rogers of Mt. Pleasant, Samantha Rogers of Kannapolis, Alex Rogers of Rockwell, Kari Rogers and Corey Ridenhour, both of Concord; three nieces, Tonya Furbee and husband, Mike, of Grafton, WV, Holly Young of China Grove, Starla Schenck of New Bedford, Mass.; and five nephews, Scott Rogers and Phil Rogers and wife, Angie, of China Grove, Chip Schenck and wife, Tracey, of Kannapolis, Chris Young of China Grove and Tommy Gibson and wife, Sharon, of Statesville.
