Patsy Ruth Fox Key

Ms. Patsy Ruth Fox Key, 79, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Carolinas Healthcare System - NorthEast in Concord.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel.

Ms. Key was born August 22, 1937 in Rowan County. She was a daughter of the late William Seaborn Fox and Bleaker Williams Fox. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Franklin “Frankie” Key, Jr; two sisters, Dot Mullis and Faye Baker; and brother, Dan Fox.

Ms. Key is survived by daughter, Debbie Kicinski of Kannapolis; three sisters, Linda Burgess, Nancy Hagler, both of Concord and Betsy Woods of Salisbury; and two grandsons, Geoff Bumgardner of Kannapolis and Jeremy Key of Harrisburg; granddaughter, Krystal Key of Asheville; two great grandchildren, Emma and Ayden; and a daughter in-law, Angie Key of Concord.
