Patsy Carpenter Morgan

Ms. Patsy Carpenter Morgan, 62, of Old Linn Road, China Grove, died Thursday, March 25, 2010, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at New Hope Worship Center, 452 Brookwood Avenue NE, Concord. Pastor Dale Jenkins and Dr. Tom Snipes will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. At other times, they will be at the home of her mother, Ruby Carpenter, 825 Brown Road, China Grove. Born October 18, 1947 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of Ruby Irvin Carpenter of China Grove and the late Carl Vinson Carpenter. She was employed for 30 years at NorthEast Medical Center, formerly Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Patsy was a member of New Hope Worship Center. Survivors in addition to her mother, include two sons, John Jordan, Jr. and Rodger Dale Morgan, both of the home; a sister, Kay Bunton and husband Eddie of Rockwell; and a brother, Carl Wesley Carpenter and wife Shelby of China Grove.
