Paul Dennis Key

Paul Dennis Key, 47, of 5525 Sam Broadway Loop Rd., Kannapolis, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2007, at Shadybrook Baptist Church. The Rev. Don Davis will officiate. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Friday. The family will receive friends from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home. Born July 6, 1960 in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late Paul Hampton Key and Alice Mae Scarborough Key. He was employed with Huggins Tire in High Point and worked part-time for NASCAR. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Hobart Key, Wayne Key and Jackie Key. Survivors include his wife, Marcela Rayon Key; a daughter, Amanda Key of the home; two step-sons, George Rayon and Jean Carlos Rayon, both of Pinehurst; three sisters, Judy James and husband, Danny, of Kannapolis, Barbara Dudley of Yadkinville, and Cathy Grooms and husband, Robert, of Salisbury; and two sisters-in-law, Carol Key of Wilkesboro and Latane Key of Kannapolis.
