Pauline Chambers Ford Deal

Mrs. Pauline Chambers Ford Deal, 89, passed on to her eternal rest on Sunday morning, February 9, 2003. She was a daughter of the late Joseph D. Chambers and Mary Ann Propst Chambers. She was born on August 29, 1913 and spent her days in Cabarrus County and the surrounding area. Mrs. Deal was beloved of her daughters, Mrs. Jacob Sloop of Rockwell and Mrs. Glen Wingler of Wilkesboro, NC; eight grandchildren, Mrs. Alan M. Peabody of Greenville, SC, Sabrina Kay Baity, Crystal Melton, April Simmons, Tammy Safrit, the late Jeffery Sanders Snead, the late James Marion Snead, Jr., and the late Lea Harwood. She was blessed with thirteen great grandchildren, Jefferson F. Cureton, II, Whitney Alexandra Snead, Mary Blythe Snead, Emily Lauren Snead, Anita Leigh Snead, Paula Safrit, Chasity Safrit, Candace Bare, Ashley Williams, Brittany Melton, Tyler Wilson, Kristen Harwood and Victoria Safrit-Valley. Also surviving are three great-great grandchildren. Her Life was filled with faith, hope, and love of others. Visitation with family and friends will be on Monday evening from 6 to 8:00 PM at Lady's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 11, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Zachariah Harris, III, officiating. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Mrs. Deal was the retired owner and operator of Pauline's Beauty Shop. She also was a life long member of Center Grove Lutheran Church, which her family helped found. The family requests that memorials, in memory of Mrs. Deal, be donated to Center Grove Lutheran Church, 1601 South Cannon Boulevard, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
