Payton Christopher Ferrari

Beloved son and brother, Payton Christopher Ferrari, 17, of Janrose Court went to be with his heavenly Father Friday, July 6, 2012, in California.

A funeral service is scheduled for 5:30 pm Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends for Payton's viewing from 4 to 5:00 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Payton was born August 22, 1994 in Jacksonville, FL. He is the son of Rebekah Ferrari Castro and Ernest Couch. He graduated High School at the age of 15 and attended Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte for a year. He was a member of Concord First Assembly. Payton was a true patriot and proud "Son of the American Revolution", with ancestors that also fought in the "War of 1812", Civil War (Union), and WWI.

Payton had a loving servants heart toward all in need. He enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, guitar, drums, computer technology, and had a beautiful singing voice. He loved all of his friends and would want everyone to remember his big smile, funny sense of humor, loving heart and positive memories.He is now with Our Lord Jesus, free from pain and sadness, and filled by the love and peace of God.

Payton is survived by his mother, Rebekah Ferrari Castro and her husband, Alexander Castro of Concord; father, "Dino" of Valdosta, GA; three sisters, Christa Ferrari, Alyssa Castro and Sarah Castro, all of Concord; three brothers, Jaydon Ferrari, Alexander Castro and Gabriell Castro, all of Concord; grandparents, Fred and Linda Ferrari of Concord, Joseph and Sylvia Castro of Charlotte and Carmen Tejera of Charlotte; and uncle, Kevin Wachsmuth of Jasper,FL.

In lieu of flowers, Payton's mother requests that a donation in memory of Payton Ferrari, be given to WWW.WOUNDEDWARRIORPROJECT.ORG. Use the funeral home address to allow a Donation Acknowledgment Card to be sent to his family after your online donation.
