Peggy Collins Loudermilk

Mrs. Peggy Iris Collins Loudermilk, 90, of 2806 A. J. Henry Park Drive, Tallahassee, Florida and formerly of Lane Street in Kannapolis, died Saturday, May 10, 2003, at Tandem Health Care of Tallahassee. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom Whidden and Rev. Fenton Jones will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born October 12, 1912, in Stuart, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late George Collins and the late Rebecca Dalton Collins. Mrs. Loudermilk formerly worked as a nurse's aide at Timrick Nursing Home, now Five Oaks Manor. She also worked for nursing homes in Florida. Mrs. Loudermilk was a member of First Assembly of God in Concord. Her husband, Ottis Bryant Loudermilk, preceded her in death on October 16, 1987. Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Ann Cummings and her husband, Mike, of Tallahassee, Florida; two sisters, Mary Wright of Asheboro, NC and Frances Gailey of Fort Myers, Florida; and a grandson, Matthew Earl Cummings. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Cabarrus County, PO Box 1235, Concord, NC 28026.
