Peggy Ann Shoe Joyner

Mrs. Peggy Ann Shoe Joyner, 72, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Peggy was born March 28, 1953 in Bethesda, MD. She was a daughter of the late Marvin Leroy Shoe and Clara Estelle Grimes Shoe. She worked as a Deli Manager for Food Lion on South Cannon Boulevard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Joyner; and a brother, Walter Shoe.

Peggy is survived by two daughters, Nicole Joyner of Landis and Cassie Rice of Kannapolis; sister, Mary Poole of Kannapolis; brother, Charley Shoe (Cindy) of Boaz, AL; four grandchildren, Caitlin Browning, Cheyenne Browning, Dalton Poole and Lili Poole; and a great granddaughter, Aurora Ketchie.
