Phillip Dean Gatton

Mr. Phillip "Phil" Dean Gatton, 59, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024, in Kannapolis.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.

Mr. Gatton was born January 23, 1965 in Concord. He was a son of the late Johnny Clayton Gatton, Sr. and Sybil Gaskill Gatton. He enjoyed playing the guitar. Phil also loved dogs, especially the five of his own. He was employed at Dennis Carpenter - Ford Restoration Parts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Crook and Jean Squires; and two brothers, Benjamin Gatton and John Gatton, Jr.

Mr. Gatton is survived by his wife, Rhonda Marcell Raffaldt Gatton; son, Phillip D. Zucker of Kannapolis; and sister, Ann Daniels of Kannapolis.
