Phillip John Todd

Mr. Phillip John Todd, 46, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center-Union in Monroe. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, December 11, 2011, at 2:00 pm at St. Enoch Lutheran Church. Pastor John Mark Beam will officiate The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 pm on Sunday at the church. Mr. Todd was born October 23, 1965 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of Jane Overcash Hilton of Kannapolis and the late Guy Alexander Todd. Mr. Todd was a graduate of South Rowan High School, class of 1984. He also graduated from Rowan Cabarrus Community College and attended UNC-Greensboro. He worked as a computer programmer in the banking industry. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin "Tommy" Todd and Buddy Todd. Mr. Todd, in addition to his mother, is survived by sisters, Pam Helms of Kannapolis and Nancy Jackson of Holly Springs and best friend, Carol Knight of Matthews.
