Phyllis Ann Winecoff

Mrs. Phyllis Ann Jacobs Winecoff, 76, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, January 3, 2016, at Salem Lutheran Church. Rev. Marty Ramey will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm Sunday at Salem Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Winecoff was born March 8, 1939 in Salisbury, NC. She was the daughter of the late Ransom Clay Jacobs and Pauline Eley Griffith Jacobs. She worked for Central Carolina Insurance Company as an insurance agent. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, and the North Carolina Insurance Women’s Association.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Winecoff.

Mrs. Winecoff is survived by son, Jack Winecoff and wife Linda of China Grove; two granddaughters, Emily Hardee and husband Geoff, and Bethany Winecoff; and grandson, Nicholas Winecoff.
