Polly Dean Baca

Mrs. Polly Dean Young Baca passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Universal Healthcare in Concord.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Tommy Poarch will officiate.

Mrs. Baca was born in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Samuel M. Young and Linda Burton Young. She was the owner and operator of Isabel’s, Inc. in Kannapolis. Mrs. Baca was active in civic affairs having served as past president of Kannapolis Crime Stoppers and was a life time member of the Kannapolis Pilot International Club. She was a member of the Concord Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Capt. Francisco “Frank” P. Baca, USMC; and her two brothers

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth Baca Costales and husband Raymond of Kannapolis; and her dearest friend, Willie Nodine of Kannapolis.
