Priscilla "Pat" Marlene Godwin Freeman Gray

Mrs. Priscilla "Pat" Marlene Godwin Freeman Gray, 82, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at her home in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Franks will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:45 am Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Pat was born March 31, 1940 in Concord. She was a daughter of the late Will Heath Godwin and Klaytee Baker Godwin. She was a member of First Reformed Church in Landis. She was first and foremost a homemaker. She was also a Champion for the South Rowan Bible Teachers Association. Pat loved to work in her yard, especially her flower beds. She loved sharing her flowers with others and donated to annual flower sales.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Ralph Freeman and L. D. Gray, Jr.; and a son, Monty Dewayne Freeman.

Pat is survived by four children, Greg Belk (Karen) of New London, Tamara Rolla (Keith) of Landis, Derek Baucom of Kannapolis and Jeff Baucom (Cindy) of Rockwell; two sisters, Joyce Rushing and Linda Melton, both of Monroe; brother, Delano Stafford (Peggy) of Marshville; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
