Raie Ann Jones Sartain

Mrs. Raie Ann Jones Sartain, 91, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Lee Boone will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sartain was born April 18, 1933 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late George Jones and Lillian Ledbetter Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Watson Odell Sartain, Sr.; four children, Jesse Ray Sartain, Watson Odell Sartain, Jr., Marilyn Sartain Holmon, and Michael Lane Sartain; four grandchildren, Johnny Sartain, Jesse Sartain, Daniel Sartain, and Christopher Bowles; one brother; and two sisters.

Mrs. Sartain is survived by daughter, Lois S. Bowles of Kannapolis; sister, Sylvia J. Bridges and husband Winfred of Mooresville; eight grandchildren, Sandra Bowles, Phillip Bowles, Teresa Wiseman, Andrea Sword and husband Kevin, Sherri Boone, Larry Beam, Danny Miller, and Angie Russell; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
