Ralph Dale Goodnight, Jr.

Mr. Ralph Dale Goodnight, Jr., 54, of 4338 Rainbow Drive, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Sunday, May 29, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Catherine George will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:00 pm Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Goodnight was born December 11, 1956 in Concord. He was a son of the late, Evelyn Faye Brackett Goodnight and the late Ralph Dale Goodnight, Sr. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Kannapolis where he became an Eagle Scout. A graduate of A.L. Brown High School in 1975 and UNCC in 1979, his interest included music, movies and motorcycles. Mr. Goodnight is survived by two sons, Chris Goodnight and Ralph Dale "Trey" Goodnight, III; a brother, Mark Goodnight and his wife, Renee.
