Rebecca Fowler Little

Mrs. Rebecca Fowler Little, 90, of 1511 Moose Road, went to be with her Lord, Monday, July 14, 2003. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Larry Beaver, the Rev. R. J. Hammond and the Rev. Gene Beaver will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of a granddaughter, Lisa Vernon, 2222 Fisher Ridge, Kannapolis. Born October 13, 1912, in Royston, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late John Thomas Fowler and the late Georgia Amanda Bailey Fowler. Mrs. Little retired several years ago from the Number Five Spinning Room of Cannon Mills, Plant One in Kannapolis. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Her husband, Ray Little, preceded her in death in January 1974. Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Beaver and her husband, Larry, of Troy, Evelyn Story and her husband, Max, of Concord; two sons, Thomas W. Little and his wife, Donna, of Charlotte and Ray S. Little of the home; one brother, Seabron Z. Fowler of Kannapolis; eight grandchildren, Lori Payne and her husband, Keith, Lisa Vernon and her husband, Dean, and Shane Story, all of Kannapolis, Debbie Dean and her husband, David, of Charlotte, Angela Gibson and her husband, Josh, of Concord, Thomas W. Little, Jr. and his wife, Tracy, of Hickory, John Beaver and his wife, Sandra, of Mt. Gilead and Michael Beaver and his wife, Shannon, of Seagrove; four special grandchildren, Vanessa Rowland, Rebecca Rowland, Gigi Gulledge and Sammy Gulledge, Jr.; and nine great-grandchildren.
