Reid Loftis

Mr. Reid Loftis, 74, of 838 Lillian Street, China Grove, died Monday, June 16, 2008, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home. Born January 21, 1934 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Clarence Loftis and Nancy Maggsengil Loftis. He formerly worked for Linn-Corriher Mill in Landis. Survivors two daughters, Tina Sherrill of Statesville and Angie Loftis of China Grove; a son, Danny Loftis of Concord; three sisters, Nora Loftis of China Grove, Fern Loftis and Wanda Loftis, both of Kannapolis; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
