Ressie Carroll Wright

Mr. Ressie Carroll Wright, 75, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at Compass Healthcare and Rehabilitaion in Spencer.

A funeral service is scheduled for 6:00 pm Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Jamie Brown will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Wright was born March 20, 1950 in Chesterfield County, SC. He was a son of the late Oscar V. Wright and Frances Jane Poston Wright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Timothy Scott Brown; two sisters, Margie Yon and Gladys Andrews; and three brothers, Fred Oscar Wright, Earnest Wright, and J.C. Wright.

Mr. Wright is survived by two sons, Danny Ray Wright and wife Tammy of Kannapolis, and Reccie Carol "Chip" Wright and wife Kay of Concord; sister, Sue Woolford of Lugoff, SC; brother, Hazel Wright of Hartsville, SC; 10 grandchildren, Cassie, Chasity, Jeremy, Tiffany, Jamie, Erin, David, Jason, Nathaniel, and Tiffany; and 18 great grandchildren.
